China - under Xi Jinping - poses a critical, multidimensional threat to the US. Its rapidly growing and modernizing strategic nuclear force, dramatically improved conventional capabilities and sophisticated Gray Zone conflict and influence operations are increasingly challenging US global leadership and interests. China is the primary existential threat to the US in the next decade.
There is an increasingly active covert Chinese-Iranian strategic link in military, missile and other technological cooperation.
